To entangle the strange journey of a species once rooted in unbroken relations to wider environments,
towards isolation and the struggle to comprehend self as beyond border of skin.

How a reflective intellect gave us the strongest edge for survival, slowly became the monster that eats us?

The film took form during a time of frightful fascination with the perceived amnesia,
in regards to how we transmit experience between generations.
With precision we convey technical, material progress,
while the inner experience of a life lived,
we seem to lack language to transfer knowledge?

As if we live in a time that got stuck in a loop, condemned to repeat the same mistakes over and over again?

In this critical time in our evolution,
how can I understand the perceived resistance to integrate what we know?
To still be ruled by our lowest impulses lust, greed, fear etc.

The film becomes a process to try to lift my gaze,
to stop seeing the world as a collection of objects,
and embrace the fluid processes of becomings that the organic worlds reminds.
To become a mirror to see Selves.
